Hi, I'm Simon, the independent developer behind SiBalance.

I believe budgeting should be simple, private and completely under your control. That's why I built SiBalance without subscriptions, without ads and without bank connections.

Every line of code, every screen and every feature has been designed and developed by me.

Releasing SiBalance is something I've dreamed about for nearly ten years.

It wasn't ten years of writing code every day. It was ten years of starting, stopping, abandoning the idea, picking it up again, redesigning it and wondering whether I'd ever actually finish it.

As John Lennon once wrote:

“Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.”

That quote has always resonated with me.

Life took me in some unexpected directions, and there were periods when software had to take a back seat to much more important things. There were times when finishing this app felt impossible.

But I never completely let go of the dream.

Whenever I could, I'd come back to it—late at night, early in the morning, or whenever life allowed. Little by little, SiBalance became the app I'd always wanted to build.

Today, I'm incredibly proud to finally share it with the world.

SiBalance isn't backed by a large company, investors or a team of developers. It's simply the result of one person refusing to give up on an idea they believed in.
